Deer and Rabbit "Proof" Plants

     or

Plants that Deer and Rabbits are less likely to eat!

There is no guarantee that the deer (and rabbits) will not eat the following plants, but in our experience these are the ones most likely to be successful when not in an enclosed fenced area.

To increase the resistance to deer and rabbits:
* Use repellants at planting time. You can usually decrease use of repellants over time.
* Use repellants during rutting season (August through November)
* It helps to remove bunny habitat
* Prune vines and trees so that their tops are high, out of reach of critters
* Overplant in high critter areas
